We are a non-profit association of about forty friends who enjoy helping each other build and fly model aircraft.
We also enjoy flying electric powered, and micro
RC aircraft indoors during the winter (for location of indoor flying check
website)
Our flying field is located at 2590 Petrolia Line, approx half way between Sarnia
and Petrolia, and an hours drive from London and1-1/2hr from Windsor.
Members can usually be found at the field anytime during
summer month, for some fun and relaxing flying..... Weather permitting, of
course (check the forecast on Index page!).
The Bluewater Flyers is intended to be an association of friends helping
friends enjoy building and flying all types of model aircraft.
Our monthly
meetings are for fun, and business and are held at Errol Road School,
Murphy Road in Sarnia on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM, October
through May.
Our club is
sanctioned and insured by MAAC, the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada.
You must be a current MAAC or AMA member, (MAAC's USA equivalent), to fly at our field or any MAAC sanctioned club or event in Canada.
